Pretty huh? Yes, it kinda puts Lake Michigan to shame and understandable that it'd be the crowing glory of a worthy shopping district. The kids were looking forward to swimming, but we dragged them on a boat tour instead - luckily realizing there was a 90 min tour instead of the 4 hour one we nearly boarded. Not much to report from that, other than we saw some pretty scenery:
OK, this isn't the scenery I speak of - but this is just a quick side note as to why it's never a wise idea to drape your 1/2 naked caboose over any object in public....you never know who is trying to take pictures of something that doesn't pertain to you and consequentially your badunkadunk ends up part of someone's family photo album. Anyway, cool contraption isn't it? More welcome views included things such as this:
and this:
Towards the end of the cruise, the wind picked up and it was clear that a storm was on it's way. Considering I failed to bring our umbrellas with us that afternoon, and considering we had to catch a tram to make it back home you wouldn't think that a snack would be of importance..... but well, when a snack looks like this shelter becomes less important.
These are some fine sausages too, I might add. Very lean, not greasy at all - and note how you just take a big crusty roll to pick apart with each bite...no buns here which I like since I usually get rid of at least half my bread anyway : ) Madison and Maya ended up wearing some mustard in their hair and shoes from eating these in the wind BTW. I'm sure they'd like to make sure that their team efforts are noted.
